What is Plesk?
Plesk operates as a web operations and server administration control panel created for web professionals, developers, infrastructure hosts, digital agencies, sysadmins, and content managers. Operating independently of specific operating systems, it functions across diverse virtualization frameworks, container environments, and prominent hyperscale public clouds including Amazon Web Services (incorporating AWS Lightsail), Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba, Vultr, and DigitalOcean. The software simplifies hosting operations, website deployment, and infrastructure scaling across Linux distributions—such as Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Red Hat Linux, and CloudLinux—as well as Windows Server environments.
The central dashboard gives operators control over multiple sites, subdomains, and database instances. Through this unified portal, system administrators can execute domain migrations from legacy panels including cPanel, DirectAdmin, or Confixx without resorting to command-line scripts.
